Captain's Nights motivate Relay teams

April 18 and May 15 are important dates . . .
The Relay For Life calendar has many benchmark dates as the actual Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) event approaches, June 14-15 at CASS.
The Captain's Nights this year are Thursday, April 18 and Wednesday, May 15 -- both 6:30 p.m. at Fanshawe College on Finkle Street.
The entire steering committee attends -- most notable co-chairs Kim Whitehead and Keri Axon, along with team recruitment committee chair Beth Boulard. (ebaboulard@rogers.com or 519 533-1808)
At a Captain's Night there are many topics discussed, including registering your team (www.relayforlife.ca/woodstock) -- if you haven't already, but also learning about fundraising and the CCS, recruiting team members, selecting your campsite, receive info on other related events like the FUNdraising Day on May 11 at Zellers / Foodland, and receiving motivation to assist in making 2013 the best year ever for Relay For Life in Woodstock.
It will be difficult to top the 2012 numbers of 86 teams and more than $310,000 raised, but it can be accomplished.
